I’d be happy to quilt for you!

Bring your top, backing and batting over to my studio and I’ll quilt it all together in design and thread colour of your choice, or I can do whatever the quilt tells me it needs. I also do binding! Make sure your backing and batting are at least 4 inches larger than your top, so I have room to pin to my frame and load it on.

Free motion stitching and pantographs are 3 cents per square inch, and more custom designs can be 5 cents or more. Cut your binding strips 2 ½ inches wide on the straight grain of your fabric, unless your quilt edges are curved – then you’ll need bias binding. Turn around time is quick, usually about a week, and rush orders can be accommodated.

Custom quilts, made to your specifications, are individually made in your choice of colours and design. They are priced by size and complexity of design, for example, a throw size which is about 4 x 6 feet is $350, double size is about $500, queen is about $600 and king is about $700.

Memory quilts, made from a loved one’s clothing, are a very popular way to have a lovely quilt made. Also, you can have those drawers full of T-shirts turned into a quilt so you can remember the events where you got the shirts. Pillows and Teddy Bears are also options and $50 each.
